Fish Fry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Fish

     
  • Oil as required.

  • Salt for taste

  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder (if you want spicier you can adjust by yourself)

  • 1/2 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste.

  • 1/4 tablespoon turmeric powder

     
  • 1 cup yogurt

  • 1/4 tablespoon black pepper

  • Chaat masala and 1 lemon (for garnishing)

 Steps of making crispy Fish fry 

  1. Wash and clean the fish properly and keep aside so that all the water get drained.

  2. Now, take a bowl and add yogurt in it and mix all the spices and ginger garlic paste.

  3. when all the spices get mixed add fish pieces in it and mix carefully (Cut the pieces thick or medium so that the pieces do not break and cooked juicy).

  4. Keep aside the marinated fish for at least 1 hour so that all flavors get absorb by fish.
  5. After an hour check the fish and mix it lightly. And heat the oil by placing the pan on the gas at high flame for frying the fish.


  6. When the oil gets heated then slow down the flame on medium heat and start putting the fish pieces in it one-by-one.

  7. Cook the fish pieces till they turn golden brown, or the fist get fully cooked and crispy.

  8. Put all the pieces on tissue paper and on kitchen towel so that all the oil gets absorbed.

  9. Once all the pieces are done then serve it hot and sprinkle some chaat masala on it for extra flavour.
  10. Enjoy hot with some green chutney, lemon juice and onion.
