Chole bhature recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup-soaked Chickpeas (kabuli chana) and drained.
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons of oil
1 tablespoon cumin seed.
2 green chilies.
1 tablespoon Coriander powder
1/2 tablespoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon red chili powder
1 tablespoon channa powder
1/2 tablespoon dried mango powder (amchur powder)
1 tablespoon gram masala powder
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
- 1/2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
For bhature:
- Refined flour 2 cup
- 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
- A pinch of baking soda
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Oil for deep frying
How to make chole bhature step by step-
STEP 1
Put chickpeas in a pressure cooker and add 6-8 cups water and some salt, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or till fully done and soft, Drain the chickpeas.

Heat ghee in a pan add cumin seeds and green chilies and sauté them for 15 to 30 seconds max.

STEP 4Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 30 seconds, then add coriander powder, cumin powder and chili powder and mix well.

Now, add garam masala powder and mix. Add ¼ cup water. Also add finely Chop tomatoes to pan, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Divide the dough into equal parts and shape them as a ball. Grease the top of small balls with some oil and roll each ball into thick circle shape..jpg)

STEP 9
Deep-fry each circle shaped raw bhature in hot oil till light golden and puffed up. Put it on absorbent paper.
STEP 10
Garnish your chole with a fresh coriander leaf and serve hot with bhature. Also take pickle and chopped onion along it to enhance its taste.
