Masala Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pasta 

  • Tomato puree 

  • Spring Onion (Finely chopped)

  • salt for taste

  • 1/2 tablespoon kashmiri lal mirch (if you want spicy then add 1 tbs of kashmiri red chilli powder and 1/4 tbs of gram masala )

  • 1/8 turmeric powder

  • 1/4 tablespoon of cumin seeds

  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh ginger garlic paste

  • 1 medium size finely chopped onion

  • 2 tablespoon of oil

  • 1 cup mix veggies (finely chopped like carrot, capsicum etc)

Instructions

  1. Firstly, in a large vessel take 2 cup water and 1/2 tbsp salt.
  2. Boil the water ,once the water get boiled then add pasta in it.
  3. Boil the pasta until it Al dente or check the time on the packet. 
  4. Once it is cooked drain it off and keep aside
  5. For pasta sauce ,take a wok and heat oil.
  6. Now put ginger garlic paste and saute it. 
  7. Then add cumin seeds and onion in it.
  8. Keeping the flame on low and add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.
  9. Saute on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.
  10. Further add tomato puree and cook well.
  11. Cook until the mixture thickens and oil separates.
  12. Now, add all the mix veggies and saute them.
  13. After that add boiled pasta in it and mix well making sure the pasta sauce is well combined with pasta. 
  14. when it mixed and cooked properly ,your Masala pasta is ready enjoy hot with tomato ketchup or cheese.
