How to make Momos or Dim Sum at home ?
Here is an easy way to make a delicious momos at home :-
Ingredients for Veg-momos
- For dough
- 2 cup maida
- 1/2 tablespoon of salt
- 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
- For filling
- 1 cup Carrot, grated
- 1 tsp Garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup Onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup Cabbage, grated
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Soya sauce
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 tsp Vinegar
Steps for making momos
- Mix maida, salt, baking powder and water to make a stiff dough.
- Heat oil and add onion and garlic in it saute over high heat and add carrot and cabbage cook on high heat till glossy.
- Take off the heat and add the soya sauce, salt, and vinegar in it.
- Roll the dough thin (translucent) and cut into 4"-5" rounds.
- Take a piece of dough , make edges wet then add filling in it.
- seal the edges to cover the filling twist at the end ,fill the rest in the same way.
