Steps of making cake 

Step 1: Prepare Baking Pans


Use shiny pans, which absorb less heat and produce a golden crust,
greasing or flouring the pan with butter, oil or parchment paper.

Step 2: Allow Ingredients to Reach Room            Temperature

Always use ingredients on room temperature

Step 3: Preheat the Oven

Allow your oven to preheat for at least 10 minutes



Step 4: Stir Together Dry Ingredients

Dry ingredients include flour, baking powder and/or baking soda, and salt.whisk  all the ingredients together in a bowl beforehand.

Step 5: Combine the Butter and Sugar

Using an electric mixer on medium to high speed, beat the butter for 30 seconds,add the sugar  and beat the mixture on medium speed until it is combined and has a light, fluffy texture. This will take 3 to 5 minutes. 

Step 6: Add Eggs One at a Time

Add eggs one by one and beats properly after every single egg.

Step 7: Alternate Adding Dry and Wet Ingredients

If require you can add some milk or butter into the mixtures or some dry ingredients like dry fruit, candy etc. Beat slowly at this stage, when all the .liquid is mixed and gluten begins to form it means that the mixture is ready to bake

Step 8: Pour Batter into Pans and Bake

Pour all the batter into pans and dab it for two to three time so that no bubble will remain.

Step 9: Check Cake for Doneness

Avoid opening the oven door before the oven is stop, use toothpick to check whether the cake is properly baked or not. Put the pick near the center of the cake, if it comes out clean it means the cake is cooked but if not then baked it again for few minutes. 

Step 10: Cool the Cake Layers

Ones the cakes is cooked allow the pan to cool down then use a knife around the edges of a pan ,gently lift the pan after this allow the cake to cool completely.

Step 11: Assemble the Cake

Assemble the cake in a manner which you want.

Step 12: Add the First Coat of Frosting

Add frosting on each layer.

 

Step 13: Frost and Decorate

Decorate your cake as you want by using coloured frosting, candies, chocolate etc.
